Choosing a Vehicle
What vehicle classes does RIZON offer?
RIZON offers Class 4 (up to 16,000 lb/7,255 kg GVWR) and Class 5 (up to 18,850 lb/8,550 kg GVWR).
What wheelbases are available?
Wheelbase options include: 134”, 152”, 175” and 187”.
Which body types can be installed?
Box trucks, flatbeds, stake beds, contractor bodies, utility bodies, refrigerated bodies, landscape bodies, refuse compactors, and many other custom applications.
Can I customize my truck?
Yes. Customers can choose from multiple battery configurations, wheelbases, and body types to configure a truck that best fits their business needs.
Do I need a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to drive a RIZON truck?
No. RIZON trucks do not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Is a RIZON truck powerful enough for commercial work?
Yes. The electric motor on RIZON trucks provide instant torque, delivering smooth acceleration and responsive performance for demanding commercial applications.
Can I drive on the highway?
Yes. RIZON trucks are fully capable of highway operation and have a top speed of approximately 64 mph/103 kph.
Can I tow a trailer?
Yes, RIZON models are capable of towing trailers when properly equipped up to 7,700 lbs. *The total vehicle weight must remain below the GVWR.
How does regenerative braking work?
RIZON trucks feature three selectable levels of regenerative braking, which recover energy during deceleration, help extend driving range, and reduce brake wear. Regenerative braking levels can be adjusted while driving using the gear selector.

How do I charge a RIZON truck?
RIZON trucks support both AC Level 2 and DC Fast Charging and can be charged using private or compatible public charging stations.
Can I charge overnight?
Yes. Overnight Level 2 charging is the most common charging method and is ideal for many fleet operations.
